Forecasts of the world market for military fighters

Russian “Sukhoi” and the American corporation Lockheed Martin will be world leaders in the market of new fighter during 2010-2014 according to the Centre for Analysis of the World Arms Trade (TSAMTO) delivering 206 and 211 aircraft respectively. In third place came the Chinese company "Chengdu" with 156 military fighters, followed by the Boeing Company - 83 units and Russian MiG Corporation - 73 units.

In general, the current volume of world exports of new multifunctional fighters is estimated at 923 units which is substantially higher as compared to the two previous 5-year periods.
