MAKS 2009 International Air show in Moscow
Aircraft enthusiasts and tourists in search of adventure have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit this remarkable event and discover the past and future of Russian air and space technology. MAKS is a world-class air show, which showcases new developments in the aerospace industry, as well as the most up-to-date defence products from Russia and other countries, including aircraft, rockets, and the latest scientific research. For aviation enthusiasts the air show’s competition programme will demonstrate a range of aircraft: fighters, trainers, helicopters, strategic bombers, and transport and cargo planes. This includes the now legendary performance by Russian Air Force pilots flying various models of MIG and Sukhoi military fighters and displays by the famous Strizhi, Russian knights and international aerobatic teams. The full list of pilots participating is yet to be announced, but whoever takes part, the MAKS air show is a unique and amazing event. MAKS takes place only once in two years.
