IMPORTANT:

Please note, the programme below is given as a guidance only and is subject to change. Although based on our experience we do not expect major alterations, still there might be changes in the order of excursions and contents of the programme due to the timing of the spacecraft launch, Russian authorities approval, etc. Every rocket launch has its own tour schedule authorised by the Russian Space Exploration Agency and the trip programme will be reconfirmed to you.

We can also offer you an extended programme to Baikonur which additionally to the standard one below includes:
  • viewing rocket delivery to the launch pad and set-up;
  • attending a press-conference with the crew;
  • two extra days at Baikonur.
The surcharge for the extended programme is £425 per person.
Soyuz Start Ready, Baikonur
STANDARD MANNED MISSION PROGRAMME:

Day 1 - Moscow:
Arrival in Moscow. Our representative will meet you at the international airport. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 - Moscow - Baikonur:
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the local airport for your flight to Baikonur, airport Krayniy. Flight duration – approximately 2.5 hours.

Arrival in Baikonur. Transfer to the hotel. Check in. Dinner. Free time.

Day 3 - Baikonur:
Early in the morning we will visit Assembly and Test Facility #2. We will visit the Museum of Baikonur where you will enjoy a large collection of unique objects used for space exploration including the first Lunar Globe and Yuri Gagarin's personal belongings.

We continue our fascinating Baikonur exploration and visit the legendary Buran spacecraft - the only completed and operational Russian space shuttle developed under the Soviet Buran programme.

After lunch we go to the launching site of Energia rocket and the biggest universal complex “Stand Start” which provides the vertical Buran launch.

Dinner. Free time.

Day 4 - Baikonur:
After breakfast we will visit the Museum of Baikonur and Gagarin's and Korolev's Memorial Houses where they lived before the first spacecraft launch.

We continue Baikonur exploration with a guided sightseeing tour visitng main squares, monuments, Gagarin’s gazebo, and the rocket “Soyuz”.

After lunch we will visit the International Space School. Dinner. Free time.

Day 5 - Baikonur:
After breakfast we will visit Assembly and Test Facility #254 used for launch maintenance. The site also features a medical room for final health checks of the spacecraft crew.

We will witness the crew reporting to the Head of State Commission their readiness for space launch. While the crew prepares for take – off (usually 4 hours after their report) we will visit Assembly and Test Facility #112 where the rockets and spacecraft are assembled and tested upon their delivery from the manufacturing plant.

After lunch we go to the observation platform located just above a mile from the Gagarin launch pad. We enjoy breathtaking views of a manned spacecraft heading into the universe! And one hour after successful start we can approach and explore the launch pad.

Day 6 - Baikonur - Moscow:
After breakfast we will visit the local hotel “Cosmonaut” – a unique place where all cosmonauts stay before spacecraft launch. We will also visit the famous Baikonur tree lane and a local market where you will be able to buy souvenirs. After lunch transfer to the airport for your flight to Moscow.

Arrival in Moscow late in the evening. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 7 - Moscow:
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the international airport for your flight back home.
